The ultimate breakfast smoothie

This smoothie is great for those new to smoothie making as it’s quite sweet, you don’t want to jump into the deep end and add lots of greens straight away as it’ll probably put you off. This smoothie provides lots of slow release energy from the oats so it’ll keep you nice and full all morning, it’s packed with superfoods and tastes gorgeous!

Baobab contains vitamin C which increases alertness and energy and supports the immune system. It also contains potassium which is essential for a healthy nervous system. Baobab is hydrating and boosts your iron uptake. Maca also helps to improve energy level and it strengthens the body. So having both of these superfoods together is a powerhouse!


1 frozen banana,

1 cup of strawberries,

1 tsp of Organic Burst maca powder,

1 tsp Organic Burst baobab powder,

1 cup of cocoanut water,

2 tbsp of gluten-free oats,

2 tsp Dr Gaye Super Spoonful.


Put all of the ingredients in a blender apart from the super spoonful and and blend until all of the ingredients are smooth. Pour into a bowl or jar and top with the super spoonful and some strawberries. Drink with a straw :)
