After making sugar-free, gluten-free & dairy-free avocado & lime cheesecakes at the weekend and falling in love with the flavour combination, I just had to come up with a smoothie with similar flavours. The creaminess and sharp lime flavor of this smoothie really does make you feel like you are drinking a glass of key lime pie. But a really healthy key lime pie this is one of my favourite smoothies I’ve made yet!
Ingredients
1 frozen banana,
1/2 large avocado,
Juice of 1/2 lime,
1 tbs gluten free oats
1 tsp Organic Burst Maca powder
1 tsp pure honey
1 cup almond milk
Method
Put all of the ingredients into a high powered blender and process into smooth and creamy. If too thick, add more almond milk to suit your preference. I topped mine with some gluten free granola and pecans.
